There have been many things to get used to while we all adjust to this new lifestyle, and while there are a thousand and one hard and heavy things to process, one that has been hitting hard for me has been the closer of all the parks here in the Chicagoland area. It’s small, in the grand scheme of things, but I think its ok to miss the normality and simplicity of a beautiful day at the beach.

One of my things on my bucket list to do before I left Scotland was visit Craigievar Castle, the famous pink in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. This beautiful pink castle said to be the inspiration for Walt Disney’s Cinderella Castle. Finished in 1626, this castle is one of best preserved castles in Scotland, catching the sun just as it did hundreds of years ago.
