Last Adventure for a While

There have been many things to get used to while we all adjust to this new lifestyle, and while there are a thousand and one hard and heavy things to process, one that has been hitting hard for me has been the closer of all the parks here in the Chicagoland area. It’s small, in the grand scheme of things, but I think its ok to miss the normality and simplicity of a beautiful day at the beach.

Just before we all entered the great indoors, my friend and I braved the chill and took one last outdoor adventure. (I recently got a new phone, so it was also an excuse to try it out the new camera!) Looking back, these photos give me so much joy and hope for the next adventure, whatever that looks like.
