Moving to Seattle

Flights. Public transportation with fish in tow. New places. Maps in hand. Coats and boots. New people. Shy conversations. Twinkle lights in my new bedroom. First days. Interviews. Big changes and adjustments. Hello Seattle.

Pike Place Market, home of the gum wall and throwing fish. I love this Seattle icon. It represents so much of what I love about Seattle: the ability to buy Tibetan prayer flag and bubble tea while smelling salmon and watching the ferryboat.

For our last stop of the day we stopped by Woodland Park Zoo, a place we always used to go as kids, to look at the rose garden. I love finding free things to do throughout the city, however we had to leave pretty quickly because there was no bathroom in the park, so….haha
